Bread Machine Potato Bread
- 1 1/4 cups (296 g) water
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened (or 30 grams olive oil)
- 3 cups (360 g) bread flour
- 1/2 cup (56 g) instant mashed potatoes (dry) (conviniently this is ~1/2 bag of a makes-2-cups sized package of instant mash potatoes)
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary leaves, crumbled (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt (or less, to taste)
- 2 teaspoons bread machine or fast-acting dry yeast
Set to basic/white cycle, medium or light crust.
Variations: replace rosemary with1 1/2 teaspoons tarragon or of chives
