Yummy Chocolate Cake

Use half the recipe if making two round 8" layers cake rather than one 9x13 inch cake

Cream together in bowl:

1 cup margerine
2 1/2 cups sugar

Blend in:

4 eggs

In a sauce pan on stove mix together until smooth:

1 cup cocoa
2 cups boiling water

Separately, sift the following dry ingredients together:

3 cups sifted flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda

Alternately stir in cocoa mix and combined dry ingredients to mixing bowl, adding:

2 tsp vanilla

Bake in well greased and floured 9x13 inch pan at 350 degrees 45 minutes. Alternately, if making 2 layer round cake bake at 350 degrees for only 20-30 minutes. Check if done by sticking toothpick in middle of cake. If the toothpick comes out clean, it is done. Remove layers from pans as soon as pans are not too hot.

Yummy Chocolate Mocha Frosting

6 Tbs Cocoa
6 Tbs Strong coffee (you can drink the rest, of course...)
1/4 lb butter
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups 10x powdered sugar

Beat well, flavoring to taste by adding more or less cocoa or coffee.
Frost layers of two layer cake after they have completely cooled...
